Privacy, in plain words.

Screen & Me is a macOS screen recorder by CKAutoFlow. This notice covers the app and screen.ckautoflow.com.

Your recordings stay local

The app processes screen recordings, camera footage, microphone audio, pointer movements, and edits on your Mac. It does not upload your recordings to our servers. Working files remain on your computer until you delete them. Local timing diagnostics contain capture timestamps, not video or audio.

Your account

Google sign-in is managed by Clerk. When you sign in, Clerk processes your account identifier, name, email address, profile image if provided, and authentication/security information. Authentication tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain. We use your account identifier and email to identify your membership, not to access your Google files or messages.

Payments and membership

When sales open, Stripe will process subscriptions and payment details. We store the association between your Clerk account and Stripe customer record, and check your subscription and payment status when you request an export. Card details are handled by Stripe rather than stored by this app. Account and export verification requires an internet connection.

Website and service providers

Vercel hosts this website and API. Hosting and authentication providers may process IP addresses, browser/device information, request logs, and cookies needed for security and sign-in. This website does not add advertising trackers or analytics scripts. See Clerk’s privacy policy, Stripe’s privacy policy, and Vercel’s privacy policy for provider practices. These services may process information outside your country.

Controls and retention

You can revoke screen, camera, and microphone access in macOS System Settings, sign out of the app, and delete local project folders. We retain account and billing information while needed to provide the service, handle disputes, or meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Deleting your local recordings does not cancel a subscription. Use your account’s billing portal to cancel future renewal.

Questions or account deletion

Use the contact options at CKAutoFlow for privacy requests, account deletion, and support. Include the account email, but never send your password or payment card details. Mandatory billing records may need to be retained after an account deletion.
